The purpose of the website is to provide up-to-date information and research based material to enthusiastic users. The knowledge center of the website is being updated which has research based material on Islamic Banking, Takaful, Sukuk, Islamic Funds and Reits. Knowledge center will be available for general public from 1st of February, 2008

The Post Graduate Diploma in Islamic Banking and Takaful is intended to impart the comprehensive knowledge of Islamic Banking and Islamic Insurance with its true sense and concept in the people who are related or unrelated to the banking or insurance professions.
The purpose of the course is to equip the graduates with the Shariah principles of Islamic finance to fulfill the global needs of human resources and to produce well equipped professionals with the knowledge of Islamic financial concepts and products and also to provide educational facilities and trainings to people who cannot leave their homes and jobs and also to provide facilities to the masses for their educational uplift under Islamic financial system.

The distance learning course comprises of four modules and each module has two months duration.
