BankIslami, Pakistan's fastest growing Islamic Bank has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Pak-Qatar General Takaful Limited to provide takaful cover to BankIslami Auto Ijarah customers. According to the agreement Friday, the takaful cover would also be applicable for riots, acts of terrorism and natural disasters. Chief executive officer BankIslami, Hasan Aziz Bilgrami emphasised that the agreement would strengthen the relationship between BankIslami and PakQatar General Takaful Limited by providing takaful cover to Islami Auto Ijarah customers and it would also serve the mutual cause of providing Shariah compliant products to the Masses.
