Meezan Bank Limited and international NGO Islamic Relief have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), according to which Meezan Bank would assist Islamic Relief to further enhance its Islamic Microfinance operations in Pakistan by capacity building, training and product development support.  
 
The country Director of Islamic Relief Pakistan, Mr. Muneer Muhammad and Executive Vice President of Meezan Bank Ltd Mr. Ahmed Ali Siddiqui signed the MOU at a ceremony held at Islamic Relief Head Office in Islamabad. Mr. Saleem Khan, Regional Manager Meezan Bank was also present at the event.
 
Meezan Bank is regularly involved in promoting the cause of Islamic Banking by helping new entrants in the industry as well as collaborating with academic institutions and NGOs to train and groom individuals to join the growing Islamic Banking industry.
