Takaful M’sia first to get IIRA rating

KUALA LUMPUR: Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Bhd has become the first takaful operator to be conferred an AA Syariah Quality Rating by Bahrain-based Islamic International Rating Agency (IIRA). 
IIRA chief executive officer Jamal Zaidi said in a statement the rating would provide a high level of credibility and competitive advantage to Takaful Malaysia in the takaful market. 
“We are pleased to give our first Syariah Quality Rating to Takaful Malaysia, a leading takaful operator in the world,” he said. 
The rating reflected IIRA’s opinion that Takaful Malaysia conformed to very high standards of syariah requirements and quality analysis in its operations and business.
