Bank Negara Malaysia to Conduct Its Own Minting Operations

Bank Negara Malaysia wishes to announce that in the discharge of its statutory function as the sole issuer of currency for Malaysia, it will conduct its own minting operations for all denominations of the coins in circulation. Bank Negara Malaysia will continue to ensure the sufficient and timely supply of coins to meet the demand of businesses and the general public.
