Emirates Islamic Bank launches specialised services for women

Dubai: Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB), recently launched Al Reem, a specialised banking service designed to cater to the banking and financial needs of women in the region.
This Sharia-compliant service will provide innovative and simple solutions to female customers, the bank said in a statement.
Al Reem caters to the fin-ancial needs of women from various demographic backgrounds and economic groups. Among its specialised products are chip-based debit cards, customised chequebooks, privileged pricing on products and services, exclusive lounge access, retail discounts and special events.
While the concept of tailor-made banking for women is not new in the UAE, what makes Al Reem stand out from the rest is its unique array of services.

"The need for a personalised service for women is gaining precedence across the region," said Faisal Aqil, General Manager of Retail Banking at Emirates Islamic Bank.

"But it is not just about introducing just another service. It's about crafting carefully thought-out products and services designed to cater to their mindset, their standing in society and their financial goals. It is this insight that makes Al Reem's products different from the rest," he added.
