KARACHI (April 20 2007): JS Abamco Limited (formerly Abamco Ltd) has entered into a strategic agreement with EFU Life Assurance Limited to partner on various aspects of its Voluntary Pension Scheme (VPS) product that include co-branding, distribution through EFU Life sales channels, providing value-added features and other aspects of mutual benefit.

Both parties intend to work together closely to help establish a world class private pension system in Pakistan. It is currently managing 10 funds (seven open-end and three closed-end funds) with assets under management of over Rs 23 billion, as at March 31, 2007.

The JS Abamco has, since its inception, managed to establish a dominant position in the private asset management sector, owing to its diverse and innovative product suite, consistent performance and investor-oriented services strategy.-PR
