UBL Fund Managers announced the launch of their nation-wide investor education road shows to promote the mutual funds industry of Pakistan. According to a press release issued here on Thursday.
These road shows are being organised as part of UBL Fund Managers attempt to create awareness about the benefits of investing in mutual funds in untapped markets. With a series of short listed cities, the road shows tool start from Multan.
The seminar was attended by corporate and trade fraternity belonging to Multan and its adjoining areas. Chief guest was President of Chamber of Commerce Multan Anis Ahmed Sheikh. Mohammad Asghar Group Head and SEVP Commercial Banking UBL was also a key note speaker.
Anis Ahmed Sheikh, President MCCL, spoke occasion lauding UBL Fund Manager' initiative to provide the much-needed education to the investors in Pakistan about the investing opportunities in Mutual Funds.
He commented that events like this provide a forum for investors to explore new and profitable avenues of investment and would truly help the market in achieving its true potential. The week long Multan investor education road shows by UBL Fund Managers will include stall activity at key locations in Multan apart from this awareness seminar.
Mohammad Asghar, Group Head UBL highlighted efforts of UBL in promoting these value added products for its customers and for others as well. He informed the audience that UBL is the first bank in Pakistan to offer mutual fund products for the last five years.
