Hong Leong Islamic Bank (HLISB) and Pusat Pungutan Zakat Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (PPZ-MAIWP) today signed an agreement for online zakat services. Effective today, customers of HLISB and Hong Leong Bank (HLB) can pay their zakat via Hong Leong Online Internet Banking . This is the first collaboration between PPZ-MAIWP and HLISB.
"In understanding and anticipating the needs and wants of our customers, we at HLISB have developed a secure method of payment designed with the customers' convenience in mind," said En Jasani Abdullah, General Manager of Hong Leong Islamic Bank.
"This online zakat payment service is in line with PPZ's efforts to enhance service delivery through ICT. We in HLISB are honored by this privilege to partner with PPZ-MAIWP and we are equally happy to be able to extend a new service to our customers," emphasized En Jasani. |
