National Road Show on Islamic banking and Takaful has launched from Peshawar by conducting over 10 awareness sessions on Islamic banking and Takaful. This campaign will conduct more than 300 awareness interactive programmes in 100 cities throughout Pakistan spread over a whole month and concluded in Karachi on April 25 2009.

The prime objective of this programme is to promote logical awareness in Islamic Banking and Takaful to the businessmen and industrialists. These caravans executed over 10 awareness meetings on Islamic banking and Takaful in Sarhad Chamber of Commerce, Fata Chamber of Commerce, Sarhad University, Peshawar University, ICAP Peshawar and some general public gatherings in which thousand of people relating to Banking, Commerce, Insurance industry, businessmen, traders, industrialists, students and journalists participating.

In addition thousand of information leaflets on basic learning in Islamic finance and Takaful distributed to the participants of all the programmes. The renowned Islamic scholars delivered basic but detailed lectures on Islamic banking and Takaful.
