Five Days International Islamic Banking Conference organized by Alhuda CIBE extending from 1st October. Delegates from Kazakhstan and Central Asia participated in this mega conference.
Alhuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics is privileged to organize five days’ International Conference on Islamic Banking in Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan and the delegates not only from Kazakhstan but also from Central Asian countries participated in this conference. The participants read the articles on Islamic Banking in detail. First day of the conference covered the topics as Basic fundamentals of Islamic Banking, models, and products etc. and on the second day, Shariah Regulatory, Auditing, and Accounting were the topics of focus. Third day wrapped the topics such as Micro Takaful, Banca Takaful, Re Takaful, and Family Takaful. Sukuk had been the sole topic of discussion on fourth day and the last day of the conference covered up the topics of Islamic Micro Finance and Islamic Funds.
Mr. Qamar Mahmood, Chief Executive Officer IFBTC, said in his welcome note that the solitary efforts of Alhuda CIBE to promote Islamic Banking in Kazakhstan are just superlative. He further added that IFBTC reassures its full support to Alhuda CIBE in this regard. He told that 70% inhabitants of Kazakhstan are Muslim and eagerly waiting for Islamic Banking system in order to have interest free banking. He further praised Islamic Banking System of Pakistan which is awe-inspiring and rightly according to Shariah compliance. The people of Kazakhstan see Pakistani Islamic Banking System with great respect.
While talking to the media crew, Mr. Zubair Mughal, Chief Executive Officer, Alhuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics stated that the current International economic and financial crunch has placed Islamic Banking to a dignified position. For this reason, not only Muslim countries but also Non-Muslim territories are getting attracted to the Islamic Banking system. He added that Alhuda CIBE and IFBTC are mutually making efforts to establish the state of the art Islamic Banking in Kazakhstan that will help providing Islamic Banking Product Development and Shariah Human Resources to Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan and other countries. |
